Federal Slim Straight Leg Jeans

These jeans are comfortable and they look great! Until. . . they don't. I have now owned two pairs of these, and numerous other colors as well and they all end up with the same problem. They get waves in the groin area that begin less than 1 year after purchase. I was my jeans on cold, inside out, and hang them to dry every time. I also don't wash them after every wear, but maybe every 5-7 times as long as they don't have stains. I'm guessing that the spandex just gives out over time. The attached photos are from two different pairs that I've owned. The first time it happened Paige was great about exchanging them, but the second time they wanted to give me a 30% discount code. I'm just not willing to continue to spend premium money on a product that clearly won't last. So, buyer beware!

These feel much softer than regular denim. They are also relaxed and flattering. I bought them for my middle-school son who hates the feel of jeans (especially skinny jeans) and refuses to wear them. Even though they say "slim" they are not tight-fitting at all. I am a fan of the women's Paige jeans and this is my first experience with the men's. The one negative is that the wash instructions say to hang them dry. I dislike the idea of not being able to throw jeans in the dryer. In my experience, non-dress clothes that can't go in the dryer are fussier than I prefer.

These are the most comfortable jeans/pants that I have ever owned. They stretch, are soft and fit spectacularly. For an athletic build who wants a slim fit jean, these are great. I have struggled for years to get the right fit because of my thighs. These solve that problem. Great, great jeans. I own two pair and will buy every color.

I bought these for my 21 year old son and he loves them. He is 5’8 160 and we purchased the 31 waist and had the length taken up. It is a true black and the color stays in the jeans and doesn’t rub off on other clothing. The pants have some stretch which make them very comfortable but the waist stretches out a bit requiring either a belt or tailoring, which Nordstrom does beautifully! I ended up buying them in the taupe color as well because he liked them so much.
