Unraveling after less than 5 washes

I purchased this in late summer of 2025 to gift a friend on Christmas, but ended up gifting them something else so kept these for myself. I didn't start wearing or using them until February of this year but have only worn them a handful of times and washed them 4 or 5 times so far. The waist doesn't stay fit but rolls down and most frustratingly, the seams are so cheaply done they are already stringy and unraveling. Unfortunately, can't return but won't re-purchase from this brand.
