Oversize Pleated Panel Cotton Voile Button-Up Shirt

This oversized crisp cotton shirt is an example of what Akris does best—great natural fabrics and classic cuts with a subtle difference. One aspect of this piece that is not obvious from the product photos is the sheer fabric—whatever you wear underneath will show. That makes it a great layering piece, almost like a shirt jacket. What I like most about this design is the inverted pleat at the back yoke. In combination with the oversized length, it gives a stiff lightweight fabric some air-y-ness. I think this would look nice with all 1 color underneath (tank, leggings), or with a white tank to create a pseudo twinset look + any contrast pants.
