Helium UL Jacket

This is a great lightweight raincoat. It is packable, well constructed, and the color is bright. Overall, it is a solid jacket for travel, hiking, and everyday use. I only wish it was slightly more breathable.

I’ve been wearing this for everything from bike commuting to runs, and it’s been especially useful with Seattle’s unpredictable spring weather. Getting caught in a quick rain shower is pretty much inevitable, and this handles that perfectly. I wouldn’t necessarily grab it for a full-on downpour, but honestly most of the time I just want a lightweight shell that cuts the wind as much as it handles light rain. And the red color is a bonus, it really stands out and helps with visibility on the road.
