Simple design, functional shorts

Hiked 100 miles with no chafing. In warm and humid and rainy conditions. No fly zipper but I got used to the shorts. Comfortable while wearing. Integrated belt is effective.

OR messed it up!

Why did you mess up a good short? This new design with belt and elastic band is awful! Bring back the original design!!

Great everyday shorts!

I am a big fan of the shorts, the fit, feel and versatility. I use them for golfing, hiking, mowing the lawn and they’re great for all occasions. I do wish that the built in belt had an extra loop so that it wasn’t just dangling or being tucked in to the shorts.

Nice pair

I overall like these shorts as they are comfortable, breathable, and flexible. Both a pro and a con, the hip pockets are at a difficult to access angle. Also, the shorts don’t have a front zipper access and that has become a hindrance more than I’d expect as the waistband is quite snug on a M at a 32’-33’ waist.

Overall, I really like these shorts and have worn them on a hike up the Manitou Incline. They have the perfect stretch and are very breathable. They're a little shorter than I am used to, but accurate to the description. Fit was spot on. If the front zipper pocket was slightly larger and at least one of the rear pockets was zippered (like the Ferrosi long pants), they'd be a 10.

Fantastic shorts

I own six different pairs of these shorts and they are fantastic. I've worn them rafting, hiking, climbing, biking, and everything else except swimming. They've held up incredibly well.
