Very well-designed technical jacket

I bought this jacket when my old one from Patagonia failed. The grid fleece fabric is just as good as theirs but the design features of this jacket are way better. Two large capacity pockets with zip closures plus a bonus third chest pocket with a zip, a larger hood than the weirdly small Patagonia R1 hood, and no annoying surprises like the awkward diagonal hip cutouts on Black Diamond’s women’s grid fleece. It’s comfortable for wearing in everyday life but also it did great as a mid-weight layer for mountain climbing. I would recommend that if you’re between two sizes to buy the smaller one. FYI there are no drawstrings around the bottom hem and no drawstrings on the hoodie. This is still the best women’s grid fleece hoodie on the market in fall 2026.

Fantastic lightweight jacket

I was looking for a very lightweight fleece - and finally found the one! The grid fleece is very thin but warm. Packable! Love the chest pocket, zipper hand pockets and thumb holes. I love that the sleeves are not tight. Very easy to layer over. The “mineral” color is very subtle and goes with everything. Perfection.

Otero fleece hooded jacket

Love my jacket. I ordered it for a travel layer while in Iceland and onto Europe to hike the Camino trail. It’s really lightweight and feels nice. Love the color and fit is perfect. True to size. I am 170 , 5’4 and ordered a large.

Love the Earth tone colors

Lovely lightweight coat for summer or early fall late spring. I love that Koop taxi is coming up with some earth tone colors.
