Organic Cotton Fit & Flare Open Back Maxi Dress

I’m usually a medium but ordered this in a large because I wanted a roomy fit—not tight. Even though it’s meant to be more fitted, I wanted to be comfortable even when feeling bloated. My current measurements are about 40-31-40, and the size worked out perfectly. I got it in the ink blue color, which doesn’t seem to be available anymore, but it matched the pictures accurately. The fabric feels like a medium weight to me—smooth, stretchy, and comfortable. I also appreciated the pockets. The only thing I wish were different is the waist seam. I could feel it scratching a little against my skin. Maybe if I had ordered the more fitted size, I wouldn’t have noticed it as much. Since I went with a looser fit, there was more movement, which I think is what made it noticeable. But it’s not too big an issue for me. Otherwise, it’s a great dress—exactly what I was looking for.

This dress is a gorgeous length, as someone who is 5 feet and 7 inches sometimes it’s hard to find a dress in a length I like. The fabric feels very nice. The amount of fabric that’s on the bottom part of the dress is sufficient to create a couple beautiful folds. The open/cross back has a great shape, though my arm looks little fat in the area next to the arm hole, but that’s me not the dress lol. And what I can’t see in the mirror is none of my business 🤣 there’s also pockets. The only thing I can say I don’t like about this dress is how my arms look in it but once again that’s a me problem.
