One-Shoulder Ruffle Scuba Crepe Gown

It is a very elegant design! I picked this one actually my husband (last minute purchase) for a wedding and I got a few compliments there! I’m size 6 (M) but I fit in the size 4 no problem. Only thing I didn’t like was the bottom of the dress (length). I didn’t notice it when I was trying it on in the store, just when I got home. And since I mentioned that it was a last minute purchased there was no way that I would go back and look for more dresses. I understand it is the type of material but I have to “trim it” with scissors before the wedding the next day…

I was at Nordstrom returning another round of gowns that were either just ok on me, needed significant alterations, or in most cases, both. Saw this on the rack and figured I’d give it a try. My lower half is a size 4, but I usually have to go to a 6 or 8 in dresses as I am naturally busty. Tried this on with zero shape wear (or bra) and I could easily go to my event that way. The fabric hugs, but the ruching is in all the right places. And because it’s Petite I don’t have to get 6 or more inches chopped off the bottom before the party!!

I can't believe how short this dress is. I'm 5'8", and it is sitting an inch off the ground. And it has a rough hem, so you have to get it hemmed. How do they call this a full length down? I guess you have to be 5'5" or so to wear it. Great quality and very pretty. I would've kept it if it wasn't so short.
