One-Shoulder Jersey Gown

I am a size 16, generally wear an XL in tops and bottoms, 36H in bras and the 16 fit me like a glove! I had a military event to attend and this was the perfect blue for my partner’s blues. This dress hugs gorgeously in all the right places and the front material covers in all the others. Your bum will look amazing with the ruching in the back. The dress has anti slip around the top. I am just under 5’2” and did have to get this dress hemmed, so be sure to order in time to take to alterations. The dress is soft and stretchy but thick and good quality. I highly recommend this dress! I did not need shapewear for this dress, but wore it anyway.

I recently purchased this dress to wear as the mother of the bride, and while I was excited about the purchase, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The dress itself is pretty, but when I saw it in person, it looked more casual than it appeared online. The fabric didn’t have the luxurious feel I was expecting, and it lacked the formal elegance I was hoping for in a mother of the bride dress. The color and design were nice, but not as refined as I had imagined from the online photos. In terms of fit, it just wasn’t right for me. The dress didn’t sit as smoothly on my body as I thought it would, and the overall silhouette didn’t flatter as much as I had hoped. It felt more like something you’d wear to a semi-formal event or cocktail party rather than as a mother of the bride, which is not what I was going for. Unfortunately, I had to return it and look for something else that better suited the role of mother of the bride.
