Great straight leg jeans
I love these pants. Not as tight as skinny jeans, especially at the knee but very flattering and comfortable.
I am tall and the length was, if anything, a little long. The dark color is nice.

Not ponte and runs big
Ponte is a thick, double knit fabric design produced on double jersey knitting machines. These were more like a stretchy denim. Not like NYDJ as they sat on hips and felt they would slide down. No slimming effect at all. baggy legs. Size 10 usually fits me very well these did not.

Definitely not high rise. They are mid or maybe even low rise. They were 5 inches too long. I don't mind getting pants hemmed, but that's too much to keep the right tapering at the bottom.

Way too long.
I like the Marilyn Straight Leg jeans but it only comes in one length -- 32 inch inseam. My husband is 6'1" and wears that length. I don't know many women who would wear a 32 inch inseam. I know I can hem them but that adds another week after waiting a week to receive them. The description says it comes in Petite sizes but I could not find them at Nordstrom in the store or online.
