Waist size too big for rest of the garment

I read the reviews and purchased a size down from my normal size. When I tried the short on....the waist was 2-3 sizes too big. I thought perhaps I ordered a plus size by mistakebut I didn't, according to the garment tag on the shorts. So disappointing because they seem like the perfect shorts.

hmmmm

This is the second pair of shorts from NYDJ. Ordered the same size, 10, fit fine in the morning but by the afternoon they were stretched out and sliding down. Be sure and wear a belt.

run big!

Love these shorts but I am a size 10 and I got a size 6 in these! So buy a smaller size. Like a linen blend as they are less wrinkled. Nice length- 9” inseam- above the knee.

Nice, comfortable fabric with a great fit. Elastic waistline avoids muffin top. No pinching or pulling when standing or sitting. Short has an A-line shape. I am 5’7 135 lbs. I bought all 4 colors size small.

Nice style and fabric

I liked the style and fabric of these shorts but had to return them because they were much too big even after sizing down one size. I have jeans and jeans shorts made by NYDJ and the sizing is always somewhat inconsistent. I plan to reorder these shorts in an even smaller size.
