Arenas Sneaker

The are a very stylish, lightweight sneaker with a good grip. I usually wear a supportive sandal like Taos, Naot or Mephisto with dresses and skirts as I don't like the SNEAKER w/dress look -- think Keds. But these shoes add a new level of fashion and sophistication to this on-trend look. I bought these shoes for my trip to Italy and Greece in late May early June. They will not be the best choice if it rains with the woven leather but I have a backup for that weather. They will, however, be perfect for warmer summer weather. I bought them in ivory which is a soft off-white.

I am a Pikolinos Fan. This is a nice idea for a dressed-up enclosed shoe. However, doesn't really have the fit and comfort of a sneaker. I returned size 37, because it was too snug. I usually wear 37 in all Pikolino styles. The 38, which would be my normal sneaker size, was correct size for this shoe. Difficult to wear with socks because ankle fit is low, even cutting into back of heel a bit. So for these reasons, I cannot recommend as an all day comfort shoe. I am returning.

Took a flyer on purchasing these shoes 2 days before an extended weekend trip. Couldn't be happier that I did. Wore them every day, walked miles. So comfortable! More expensive than I usually pay for shoes, but definitely worth the splurge.

The first pair I received in my usual size 37 was too small and was not the color I ordered. I returned them, ordered the next size up and they arrived today. This time I received the brandy color in a size 38 and they fit perfectly. I can tell that they’ll need a little breaking in as the leather is quite stiff. All in all it’s a nice shoe that will be a step up from a traditional sneaker. I feel confident that after the leather is broken in it will be a comfortable and versatile shoe.

Finally found cute summer sneakers that are great quality and comfortable. I’m a 6.5 US, and the 37 is perfect for me without socks.

They’re cuter in person than I expected and more supportive than other Pikolino sneakers I’ve worn. The insoles are especially comfortable. This brand runs small for me so I ordered a 39 instead of my usual 38. The pattern is cute but the perforations aren’t sensible for wet weather. Easy to get on and off with elastic laces.
