Cable Knit Cashmere Crewneck Sweater

I am a more "mature" Nordstrom customer, aged 59 but still interested in fashion and finding flattering things to wear. This is a wonderful sweater for more "classic" dressers! The color is just beautiful and I can't imagine anyone not finding it a fun addition to her wardrobe. Will work with any other colors! It is really soft, not itchy at all. The length is a bit cropped but works well with a lot of bottom silhouettes. The sleeves are quite generous -- a plus for me and my long arms -- but easily cuffed. MOST IMPORTANTLY -- this sweater does NOT have an exaggerated dropped shoulder line. It is an easy fit but without a "slouchy" look -- which in my book, mostly is sloppy and droopy. I took my regular size medium. Add it to your wish list and tell family members!

I usually love Nordstrom Signature cashmere sweaters and buy several each year. The color of this one is really lovely, but the fit is so odd and snug (especially through the neck and shoulder areas). In their pics, you see the vertical folds of fabric by the upper armpits on the model—they can’t even make it lay right on a skinny bean pole model. This sweater is so thick, and there’s no ease built into it so it just lays there heavily on you in the most unflattering way. I like my sweaters to be comfortable and cozy, and this one was the opposite—I couldn’t wait to take it off.
