Lost Shipment – Refused Refund

Lost Shipment – Refused Refund I ordered a pair of Gianvito Rossi Itaca Metallic Leather and Mesh Slingback Pumps ($643) from the Neiman Marcus website on July 18, 2026. The website had technical issues during checkout, and when I immediately tried to cancel the duplicate order, the system glitched.The shoes shipped via FedEx and were marked delivered on July 26 at 6:30 PM. However, the driver dropped the package at the wrong building. The delivery confirmation photo clearly shows a floor that does not match my building.I called Neiman Marcus customer service seven times. Each time, they promised to follow up. Today, August 11, they finally called back to deny my refund and told me to file a police report. FedEx policy states that the sender must file the claim, yet Neiman Marcus refuses to take responsibility for their carrier's mistake. I am dealing with a serious health condition (cancer) and this unneeded stress is completely unacceptable. I regular shop at Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and Saks without issue. Avoid Neiman Marcus.
