Midsole Drop: 10mm, the most common and generally considered to be the ideal standard for running shoes. Classified as a high-drop measurement, it allows for more cushioning to absorb the impact of heel strikes.

Very comfy shoe for walking and weightlifting

I bought these shoes for weightlifting and strength training mainly. The cushy sole has helped with foot pain I used to get while doing exercises that require planting my heels. I also wore them on vacation recently, walking 5-7 miles per day and they were perfectly comfy. I learned to choose my shoe size with a thicker sock on, so that if I’m going to be walking in hot weather, I can wear a thinner sock to account for the fact that my feet will swell a little bit from the heat. For running, I have a different shoe with a thinner heel to make sure that my foot and ankle alignment is more natural. Running with too thick a heel pad can mess up your ankles and the muscles in the feet over time even if it’s comfy in the moment.

Major size variations

Be cautious with different colorways, I bought my spouse one pair (color code HQ2589113) that fit perfectly but this second one is over a quarter of an inch difference in width of the shoes.

Very comfy shoe for walking and weightlifting

Not Extra Wide

The shoes were definitely not extra wide and I'm actually sending them back tomorrow.

Not extra wide, box/shoe tag say wide

Marketed as an extra wide, but box and tag inside shoes both say wide. SO DISAPPOINTING! I think I can still wear them for short walks around town, but absolutely not comfortable enough to workout in. I’m wearing them now as I write this, and my foot is compressed enough to start falling asleep on the inner side. These are the SECOND pair of shoes I’ve bought this year that’s been sold as extra wides and instead is only a wide, checked box/shoe tag to be sure. I really, really need extra wides and to me this is false advertising. They are pretty and again, for a coffee run with friends or something, I am willing to wear them for a few minutes, but absolutely not for anything longer than that. I was so excited to get these, and now I’m just upset.

Shoe width

These are too narrow for being extra wide. They feel tight after wearing them for a week. Not happy with them but I can’t return them since I already wore them for a week as everyday wear.
