Kids' Team Hustle D 12 Basketball Shoe

I was pretty disappointed with these shoes, the design is just so frustrating. The biggest issue is that the shoelaces are constantly getting caught on the velcro strap. Every time he fastens them, the laces get snagged, and now they're all pulled and fuzzy. It's a huge pain and makes the shoes look messy. The strap itself is the other problem. On my son, it barely goes over his foot. It definitely does not go fully across and fasten like it shows in the product picture. I guess his arches are just too big for this style, but it looks sloppy and doesn't feel very secure. The one saving grace is the sole. He said they were comfortable to run in, and the soles seem really grippy and great for him playing. But overall, the daily frustration with the laces and the bad fit of the strap makes these a letdown. We won't be buying this style again.
