Kids' Dri-FIT Fleece Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old daughter tried these shorts out for soccer and also wears them for casual wear. The fabric is lightweight and breathable but has held up nicely through soccer season with frequent washes. I like the length of the shorts, and she appreciates that they have pockets! I think the waistband with Nike logo is a stylish detail, and the elastic waist helps them fit securely since she’s a bit slim. She prefers shorts that aren’t too baggy so these fit just right. They fit true to size in my opinion. They look so cute with the matching hoodie! I wouldn’t change anything about these shorts and plan to purchase more.

She generally likes a shorter length of short and these fit the bill. As a mother, I appreciated that they were not excessively short, but of a comfortable and appropriate length. My daughter is on the smaller side and the shorts fit as expected. The fabric was breathable and thin, but of good quality. My daughter has already indicated that she loves the shorts and would want this brand and style again in the future. They held up to washing wthout any issues and I believe will continue to hold up. There is nothing that we would change about the style, fit, or fabric. Some girls like a longer short for sports, but this may be a great option for fashion shorts for those girls. I'm comfortable in the durability of the shorts that they will be handed down to her younger sister when she eventually grows out of them.

The fleece fabric feels soft and lightweight while still providing warmth, which makes them perfect for early morning walks. Thanks to the Dri-FIT technology, sweat is managed really well, it stayed comfortable and dry even after walking during hot summer days. The fit strikes a good balance between secure and flexible. The waistband holds up during fast breaks and jumps without slipping, and the stretch in the fabric gives me full range of motion. The length sits just above the knee, which feels breathable but still offers plenty of coverage. If there’s one drawback, it’s that fleece can feel a little heavy for outdoor games in the heat. Still, for indoor basketball or cooler weather, these shorts are a solid choice. And by the way, this runs just a little big for my daughter who is usually wears Large for kids.
