I recently placed my first order with Nordstrom, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. I received my package today, and it was badly damaged. It honestly looked like the shoes had been soaked in water. I checked my Ring camera and saw the package being dropped roughly at my doorstep. While I understand that delivery mishaps can happen, the condition of the box was completely unacceptable. I called customer service and was told that I would need to ship the item back, re-order the shoes, and wait 5–12 business days for my refund. This means I would have to pay again out of pocket, even though the problem was not my fault. I really need the shoes by the 17th, but the refund timeline makes that impossible. What bothers me most is that there was no attempt to offer an alternative solution or any real assistance to meet my deadline. For a brand with Nordstrom’s reputation, I expected better service and accountability. Sadly, based on this experience, I cannot recommend ordering from Nordstrom.
