New Take Boxy Tank Top

After ordering this top in the soft butter yellow, I came back to order the remaining colors. I rarely like an item that much, and I rarely leave reviews. First off, the fabric is to die for - feels very high end, with perfect softness, heft and drape, which elevates this tee from a basic. Next, it’s flattering. I ordered my regular size (L), and although the tee has plenty of room, the cut and drape of the material ensures that it doesn’t balloon out in an unflattering way, and it hides/minimizes those self-perceived flaws (for me: large bust for my frame and menopausal weight gain). The top hits perfectly at my waist/high hip and pairs well with medium-high waist bottoms. Finally, the price - when combined with the other features I described - just can’t be beat in today’s ridiculous market where everything costs so much. For reference, I am 5’4”, 160 lbs with small frame, 38DD breast size. Zella is a new favorite brand - thank you, Nordstrom.

This was so disappointing. I was excited about the yellow color, and comfy fit. I live in Texas and thought this would be great for spring/ summer. First of all, the material is so thick and heavy. I love zella and this was totally different from the material they usually use. Second, instead of having a breezy underarm area like a cropped up boxy tee shirt, they double layered the material in this area to create thr "boxy" look. I will be returning.

This top is reallllly great on. And excellent quality. Nice summer top without looking or feeling like athleisure. Fits exactly like the photos show. However, I don’t wear high waisted bottoms, ever, so it was just too cropped in the front for me to be comfortable. An extra inch or two in the front would have been ideal. But that’s my own personal problem LOL…buy this top it’s a good one!
