First, the COLOR. Shoe companies would sell out of shoes if they made all the kids versions in adult palettes. I'm not sure why adult women and men don't are always stuck with white, black, grey, navy, and some weird variety of strange colors. THIS shoe is the perfect light pink lilac shade- it's not bubblegum pink, rose or coral, or just lilac purple, but a blend of the softest pink with a touch of lavender. Definitely unique. And thankfully the accents are not a garrish white, but a soft eggshell cream. The bottoms have good traction but that makes some of the noisiest shoes on linoleum I have heard out of the box. Take.some time and RELACE this before wearing because it's make a huge difference on how they fit and feel. And those with larger sizes, these will make your feet look at least s size smaller because of the profile. The material is a rough cut but soft suede like, so these would not do well in rain or dirt. Because of that, they don't meet expectations for outdoor hikes and messy sidewalks. Yes, the tongues are exposed foam which feels better on the foot, but who's looking anyway? I wouldn't recommend for daily street wear, but an office or school setting would be fine. I don't know why it's SO hard to find reasonable priced shoes that rock for all-day wear, athletics, and look great. These are definitely on the style side, and you can wear them out of the box for the sweetest look. Consider this one of the best looking shoes on, but with a slight compromise on quality. The value is a little under par for the price point, but the look totally surpasses it!
