Naomi Handbag

Details & care

The new IT bag! Shaped like a crescent moon, the Naomi bag is a mix of hobo and modern making it a great statement piece.

• Regular Cleaning Surface Dust: Wipe gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth after each use to remove dust and debris. Stains & Spills: Blot immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth (use distilled water). Avoid rubbing, as this may push moisture deeper into the leather. Deep Cleaning: Use a leather-specific cleaner sparingly. Apply a small amount to a cloth and test on an inconspicuous area first.
• Moisturize & Condition Frequency: Condition leather every 1–2 months to prevent drying and cracking. Method: Apply a high-quality leather conditioner with a soft cloth in circular motions. Allow it to absorb fully, then buff gently with a dry cloth. Avoid: Oil-based products or silicone polishes, which can damage the leather’s natural texture.
• Proper Storage Shape Retention: Stuff your bag with acid-free tissue paper or a soft cloth to maintain its structure. Dust Protection: Store in a breathable dust bag (provided with purchase) away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Avoid Humidity: Keep in a cool, dry place. Prolonged exposure to moisture may cause mold or discoloration.
• Prevent Damage Sunlight: Avoid prolonged UV exposure, which can fade or harden leather. Sharp Objects: Keep away from rough surfaces, jewelry, or keys to prevent scratches. Water Resistance: Treat with a leather protectant spray (test first) for added water resistance. Never soak the bag.
• Handle with Care Rotate Usage: Avoid daily use to reduce wear. Rotate between bags if possible. Edges & Handles: These areas endure the most stress. Clean and condition them regularly.
• Address Accidents Promptly Liquid Spills: Blot immediately. For oily stains, sprinkle cornstarch to absorb residue, then wipe clean. Scuffs: Buff lightly with a leather eraser or conditioner.
• Professional Care For deep stains, discoloration, or structural repairs, consult a leather care specialist. Avoid DIY fixes on high-end bags. Note: Leather is a natural material; subtle variations in texture and patina develop over time, enhancing its character. Always check care labels or product-specific guidelines for exotic leathers (e.g., suede, nubuck), which require specialized care. By following these steps, your leather bag will age gracefully, becoming a cherished companion for years to come.
