St. Barths Large Tote

I thought I would add my two cents on this bag since there are so many negative reviews and I don't understand why... I have 2 of these bags, a large and a medium. The large by far gets more use as it is the everyday bag for work and the throw it all in carry on for travel. I can easily throw my laptop in and everything else I need. It still remains lightweight but holds it's shape and the straps are soft to carry on shoulder or arm. I understand that when you first receive it, it may be a little alarming that there is no attachable shoulder strap and the handles seem shorter than you would think they would be- But the great thing is that the material allows stretch and give in the straps and it become more loose and slouchy with more use. I can easily carry the full bag over my shoulder. I started out with putting heavier items in the bag and hanging it overnight/couple days on a door handle. The bag also does not stain easily, I spilled wine on my cashmere bag and washed it in the washing machine/air dried it and it came out good as new. Hopefully some of you give this bag a fair chance because they really are great and versatile bags :)

This bag looks like a great travel bag, but do not purchase this in a light color if you’re traveling via airplane. This is a direct quote from NAGHEDI’s customer service “ The dirt and grease on the underside of airline seats will stain neoprene. Neoprene is a porous material and unfortunately not immune from stains.” Unfortunately I found this out the hard way after gentling placing the bag down on an airplane and finding it to be completely ruined after the first use. The company should warn customers. This damage was not from “regular wear and tear.”
