Fray Hem Bootcut Jeans

I am short-torsoed and have a hard time with high-rise jeans. These are perfect, hitting right at my belly button. I love the thick denim that has just enough stretch to be comfortable without losing shape. Miracle! The color is slightly more blue than the picture, but has a bit of the vintage coloring that I think will just get better over time. I'm 5'5" and they hit just above the floor in flat shoes.

I really wanted to like the less expensive options but bam! I slipped these on and said,”no way I’m sending these back. I look too good…holiday cookies and all.” In 5’7” and who knows what after all this eating. Maybe 148 lbs. muscular and these fit perfectly in a 29. They aren’t flares. Look at the inches around the ankle in the description. They do flare out but that’s what makes them attractive/interesting and gives you the ability to wear a variety of shoes. I think people are very use to skinny jeans. These are a nice option. They are also comfortable and don’t slide down.

I can’t rave enough about these jeans! This would be the first time in my life where I have not had to make an appointment to see my seamstress. They are PERFECT and feel wonderful. I was debating on sizing up to a 26 but the 25 is not too tight and I know that these will stretch out a bit with time. I am 4’11” and yes they are a tad long when I am not wearing them with boots or heels. I personally only plan on wearing these jeans with boots or heels so the length does not bother me. If you do plan on wearing these with loafers or mules, I would suggest getting them hemmed.

I am in LOVE with Mother jeans. This brand is like butter! Although I will say, their sizing is all over the place. Some of their styles I’m a 31/32, and others I’m a 33 or even 34 (I’m a size 10, 5’9 for reference). Since flares are back in style, I’ve been looking for the perfect pair in this color wash and i thought I hit the jackpot with these, but they are SO short. And I’m not talking like cute cropped style (I have cropped flares which I love). These are not that. They are very obviously supposed to be full length, but they hit above my ankle bone. Felt like high school all over again trying to find jeans long enough. Sadly, these will be going back. They’re definitely a shorter gals dream, though! If you’re 5’8 or taller, I’d say skip this purchase. I’ll be keeping the FRAME and Rag and Bone pairs instead.
