Acid Potion Resurfacing Exfoliator

Wait a minute we have to talk about these ingredients.. AHA and BHA Acid Complex AND if you have clogged pores salicylic acid, lactic & glycolic (one of my current skincare favorite ingredients). You will be shocked and how smooth and fresh your skin feels. But too much of a good thing can be bad and it’s the same with exfoliation! Be careful of that and only use every other night if not only a couple times per week.

I received the Acid Potion AHA + BHA Resurfacing Exfoliator complimentary from Moon Juice in exchange for my honest review. In terms of packaging, I loved that it comes in an eco-friendly glass container and the cap is also recyclable. The size was much larger than I was expecting for this type of skincare product, coming in at 3.3 oz and I was surprised to see that this was not a mask, but a toner that remains on your skin throughout the night (or day)! I did not find this toner to be irritating, though it did have a slight "sting" when putting on the face that subsided within seconds. The scent is neither pleasant nor unpleasant - more earthy than anything. It gets to work quickly, and I've been using it to help accelerate my skin's purging from tretinoin.

I was gifted by Moon Juice for the purpose of my honest review. I've been using this Moon Juice Acid Potion AHA + BHA Resurfacing Exfoliator daily, as part of my routine for a little while now and this has really helped with my texture issues. I often have bumpy, rough patches on my cheeks and they're much smoother and less noticeable now. My skin has also been less red than usual too. I like that this dries quickly, but it often leaves my face feeling sticky afterwards which I don't care for. The bottle is nice and I like that I don't have to worry about the product spilling out. Overall, I do like the results and I'll look past the stickiness for smoother skin anyday!
