Minka Floral Velvet Burnout Gown

While I like the simple style of the dress and the brilliance of the colors, it was very upsetting that on the night I was going to wear this for a special engagement. I found that for at least three of the seams, the fabric started to separate and was fraying. I called Nordstrom, but it was Christmas day, and no one was available to help which I understand. However, I’m really frustrated because there should have been some quality Control before they released the package. The the dress is beautiful and great for anyone between 5’4”and 5’7” tall but I cannot back it due to this quality issue. It gives me pause to order gifts for people directly from Nordstrom if the condition of the piece is not going to be verified ahead of time.
