Details & care

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:This is one of those jackets I use constantly because it just works everywhere. It layers easily under a shell for stormy days, but its also clean and comfortable enough to wear around town. The treated down holds up well in snowy, mixed conditions, and it packs small enough that I never think twice about bringing it along. We reach for the Microlight Down Jacket when winter refuses to stick to one script. Designed by Rab for all-around cold-weather use, this jacket transitions seamlessly from mountain missions to everyday life, offering dependable warmth without locking us into a single activity. Its the layer we trust when conditionsand plansare constantly changing. Recycled down insulation treated for moisture resistance keeps us warm even when snow turns heavy or wet, while the Pertex Quantum shell blocks wind and sheds light precipitation. A slim, low-profile fit makes layering easy under a shell, and thoughtful details like an insulated zipper baffle and adjustable hem help seal in heat. Lightweight, packable, and endlessly versatile, this jacket earns its place in our winter rotation.
