MetroTrek Waterproof Hiking Boot (Women)

I had high hopes for this crossover hiking shoe/sneaker/boot. I have purchased Ugg before several times and I found them to run either tts or big. Wow. My surprise when I put one foot in and found how tight and short they seemed. I am typically a 6.5 or a 7 on something closed like this. I’m not even sure if the 8 would work. I would think in length I MIGHT be okay with a 7.5 but the width would be too tight. Some of it may be due to the style having a much higher lug sole. While the shoe itself appears wide and sort of bulky, the actual footbed seems more narrow. Aesthetically, I am guessing Ugg felt it was less bulky looking cutting the footbed more narrow. Unfortunately, if you are a medium width or a wide it’s too tight. The shoe itself seems well-made. I do think it’s going to be pretty stiff. For me, it just had to go back. The color combination beautiful. I bought the chestnut and black combination. I likely would have bought the black as well if it had fit.

I absolutely love these UGG winter boots. The inside is incredibly soft and cozy, making them comfortable from the moment you put them on. They’re not too heavy, which is a huge plus for everyday wear, especially when I’m out walking dogs. ( Fellow dog walker - @yourpetnanny__) They’re also fully waterproof, so I don’t have to worry about snow, slush, or wet conditions. One of my favorite highlights is that I can actually feel my toes when I’m outside. That’s something sneakers with three pairs of socks could never do for me! Warm, comfortable, and practical, these boots truly deliver. If you need an active winter shoe that keeps your feet warm without weighing you down, these are hands down my favorites.

I just received these in the mail and found them to run TTS for Uggs. I ordered a half (1/2) size up based on other reviews but wish I had purchased my usual size 7. They still fit comfortably and will likely fit better and more snug if I wear thicker socks. Note, I haven't worn them outside yet to test the durability but they seem quite durable. Also they are not overly heavy in my opinion which was an initial concern.
