Weird fit
I have previously purchased 3 or 4 pairs of Merrell, which have been great, but these just fit so weird and I felt like I was wearing a cheap shoe from a completely different brand. I liked the look and the idea of them, but execution was just not good. I ended up never wearing them and am past the return date, so they are just collecting dust.

leather laces should be illegal
Leather shoes laces should be illegal. They color is very old and ugly. Not a modern looking shoe but is comfortable if the shoes were to stay tied.

THESE SHOES NEED TO STAY TIED
AS HANDSOME AND COMFORTABLE AS THESE SHOES MAY BE, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM BECAUSE THEY CAME UNTIED 3 TIMES WHILE I WAS TRYING THEM ON, AROUND MY HOUSE. I COULDN'T KEEP THEM FOR THAT REASON.

Sometimes new laces are "slick" and can come untied. This will go away over time. You can try handwashing the laces to help speed this up. Remove them first and allow to air dry before relacing. We hope this helps.

Not the best Merrells
Compared to the other Merrells these are no where near as comfortable. They also seemed to be a full size larger than other Merrells I own of the same size. The laces started to wear down within days and I’ve replaced them. The insoles were paper thin and I’ve replaced those too. With those modifications, they’re working pretty well now.
