The most comfortable summer hiking shoes ever.

The best shoe I have ever found for walking long distances. The cloud sole is amazing and this is the second time I have purchased this shoe. Very breathable in hot weather, excellent for travel and hiking.

Unwearable...

At first the shoe seemed comfortable after trying them out inside... but my first time wearing them on a short hike, I ended up with bad rubs under both ankles on both sides of the shoe. I figured they'd need a little break in, so I stopped wearin them while I healed up and tried them one more time. This time I wore them for a day of errand running..so very light use. The shoe caused sore spots on the top of my arch where the laces/tongue put pressure. I adjusted them several times to try to correct the pressure, and still I got a very red and sore spot on the top of each foot. So I've not worn them again..barely used them twice and sadly, I need to just give them away. I'd return them if I could but now I've worn them and damaged my feet twice, I'm stuck with them. I've been a Merrel customer for years so this is upsetting and sad to have such a bad experience.

My new Merrill walking shoes

I am enjoying my new Merrell walking/hiking shoes! I would not have thought this type of hiking shoe would work for me but it did. I sized up to an 8 1/2 from and 8 for extra room in toe area.

RUN BIG

love the look, I bought my reg size 7 and 7.5 because they said they run small. THESE RUN BIG and I have two return both and now the smaller sizes are sold out. so annoyed and same with the mid boots as well

I ordered a second pair of these hiking shoes. I ordered a 9.5 and they were to small. I exchanged then for a 10 and now there a little to big. I need them for an upcoming trip, so a little bigger is better than too small.
