All purpose shoe

I wanted an all purpose shoe... I found them. Great comfort for relaxing indoors and trekking rough terrain outdoors. Originally I ordered a 7.5 and found it was too tight. The return was smooth and quick as I returned them for size 8. The fit is perfect with my wool socks (or without). Very satisfying experience w/Merrell.

Misleading sizing

I have always found the wide Jungle Mocs to fit perfectly. Unfortunately with the additional layer of material in these, they are no longer wide enough. Even when I went half a size larger, they were still too narrow. This wide is NOT the same as the wide in their other shoes.

Great All Around Shoe For 2026

I've been buying a new pair every fall for the last 4 or 5 years, and then I use the old pair around camp the following year, which is pretty much maxing out their longevity. Great shoe for 2026. I have a closet full of other shoes I’ve only worn a couple of times that would definitely get a different kind of review.

These are MERRELL’s.

My bias is for well made, comfortable, durable and stylish outdoor shoes. These Merrell’s meet or exceed each criteria.

A supremely comfortable shoe for any weather.

These are my dog walking shoes, so I wear them several times a day. Easy to slip on, extremely comfortable. Warm, waterproof, indestructible. Size up a half size.
