Agility Peak 6 Running Shoe

Sizing is way off. I bought these to replace my Agility Peak 5 pair that were worn out. The Agility 5 were a size 8. So I ordered an 8 again. WAY SMALLER. In width and length. I put hundreds of miles on my 5s and I couldn’t even make it out the door in the 6s. It’s a totally different fit. I was disappointed and exchanged for an 8.5 hoping that would help. Nope. Still too small. Holding up my old pair to the new I could see the new 8.5 (half a size bigger) were literally smaller than the old 8. I had a pair of Merrells before the Agility Peak 5 as well that were also a size 8. I had been happy with the fit and quality and didn’t want to shop around, so thought I could just order the same thing. If you are going to totally change the fit of the shoe, I think it should get a different name. Totally misleading to think it’s new and improved when I would have to go up AT LEAST a whole size to wear comfortably. On the hunt for a different shoe now, probably moving away from Merrell as this left a bad taste in my mouth.

I have been wearing marrell sneakers for many years and have always been 100%satisfied. I recently bought the agility 6 and these are the worst Merrell or any sneakers I have ever owned. Whatever they did to the insoles they don't stay in place and are thinner than all of my previous ones. So uncomfortable my feet always get sore.

I love these shoes a lot and recommend them to anyone I see. They are very comfortable. Great grip on the bottoms and so stylish. I would highly recommend these.

Very pleased with my Merrell shoes. As i have found many shoes hurt my feet as i age. Merrell shoes are always comfortable, and these are no exception. I only had to wear them around the house for an hour or so and i was ready to wear them on a long walk

I am beyond happy with this sneakers. They are super comfortable and I can walk all day long with them. I have plantar fasciitis and struggles to find comfortable shoes that actually work and this ones are exactly what I needed.

Activities: long distance hiking (30+ km a day, unloaded) from alpine to gravel road, occasional trail run +/-5km. I was really excited for the new AP6, as I have been using the AP5's for a few pairs now (like everyone else was not happy with the heal lock on the AP5's, but made them work). Unfortunately though, the I found the whole shoe of the AP6 to be tighter. I tried sizing up a 1/2 size, and still had the worst foot cramps of my life. I also found them to be not quite as stable as the AP5's (day 1 had a major ankle roll), more rigid, and not as "springy". I am so sad, as I am now out 2 pairs of shoes, and a few hundred dollars down. They did a good job with the upgrades in durability, the heal is definitely more secure, the tongue is a bit more padded for heal locking, and the lugs are as usual amazing. For some people these shoes will be awesome! But for those with wider feet who have been using the AP5's, be warned!
