Heel too deep and stiff...rubs Achilles
I bought these shoes because I own 12 pair of Mephisto shoes and they have always been very comfortable. Unfortunately these shoes have a serious design flaw. The back of the shoe rides so high up on the heel that the shoe rubs against the Achilles tendon until it is raw. The shoes look great but are very uncomfortable. I cannot recommend these shoes.

A Great Shoe
Extremely comfortable and very supportive. Most importantly, the design of the shoe provides sufficient space for the front part of your foot to fit. Unfortunately my left foot has toes that turn left and require more space. Shoes are made with great material that provides a comfortable and supportive feel.
