The elastic bands on the sides are great because they help maintain comfort, especially for wider feet. But that also caused a lot of movement of the shoe on the back because each step and bend of the foot made the elastic stretch, which then caused the heel of the shoe to slip down. The tope edge of the shoe provided full coverage of my foot which was fantastic because it helps with comfort (versus being cut too far down on the foot), but this was too tall and dug into the front of my ankle. Loved the shape and sleek look of the shoe, but the material looked cheap. It looked pressed and shiny in spots where the shoes rubbed against the inside of the shoebox. Overall, too many problems to justify the hefty pricetag. I am returning.
