Not a fan of the redesign
I am a Medium Lily collector bc it’s hands down the best size and quality bag I have ever owned- the older version, that is. Not the redesign. The redesign is smaller (the picture of the model wearing Crumpet on the Nordstrom website is actually the older version- not the redesign that you’ll be sent), the leather that is woven through the chain in thinner, and the metal of the chain feels less substantial. I believe the leather itself seems to be of the same quality. However, with the smaller size, I would have to stack my continental wallet and iPhone one in front of the other, but I purchase the Medium Lily bc I’m carrying more than just my wallet and phone in my bag. So with the way I’d need to configure items in the smaller version, the outline of the iPhone is going to leave an imprint on the leather- and none of us want that to happen to our bags. With the older version, I can place my iPhone in the bag vertically and on the same plane as my continental wallet, which allows me to place other items in the bag without getting any imprints on the leather. Please bring the older version back- original size and heftier chain. In Crumpet and Night Sky- I’ll happily buy them both then. 🤞
