Max Shade Hat

This hat is truly beautiful. It doesn’t look like the other hats I tried that are more sporty-looking. It provides great coverage; however, there are too many flaws for me. 1. The straps do not stay on; they use similar hooks like bra straps, and they keep falling. 2. The hat has two layers, and it gets extremely hot under the sun, which is not great for scalp pH. It may be better for cooler temperatures, but the whole point I bought the hat was to use at the beach and it gets too hot and uncomfortable after a few minutes under the sun.

I liked the size, the fabric, and the color. I returned it because I felt the chin strap wasnt going to stay on when the wind blows, effectively defeating the purpose. The vendor offered to send me a replacement but in the end decided the hat wouldn’t work for my purposes.

I’ve been wearing my hat in the pool during this extreme heat wave. Excellent protection. String keeps hat securely in place. Fit is great!

I bought this to replace my UVSkinz Rolled Brim hat that I unfortunately lost and is no longer available. I also tried the Women's Roll Up Hat, but decided to keep the Max Shade. I love that it provides MAX SHADE, but it's kind of stiff and leaves a mark on my forehead after I take it off. It's nice that it's adjustable and that it has a chin strap (the only downside to the Rolled Brim one, but I ended up sewing my own strap to my old hat), but it kind of clunky and the fabric is a bit heavy. I really wish you still had the Rolled Brim hat (with a chin strap!).

Excellent! The hat covers the face and back of my neck. I am using the hat during my work in the front/back yard.I will be buying a white hat to use for vacation.

The fabric is too heavy and unbreathable making it uncomfortable to wear on a hot day. I thought I was replacing my old one that looked the same but which I unfortunately lost. The shape of the hat is still good.
