Martina Rope Clutch

I wanted to love this clutch. The picture alone was cute and the texture is interesting. But where it arrived, two ropes had become undone or unglued from the clutch itself. I tried to push it back in or put it back in and it only made the other ropes push out of place. The 2nd part was the clutch opening. I opened it and immediately the clutch separated from the inside shell. I had to return it.

Super cute clutch. I’ve ordered 4 to date. 1st clutch (red) was received in pristine condition, wrapped in paper and then placed in plastic with plastic protective pieces covering the metal parts. 2nd clutch (navy) arrived with some protective packaging but the clutch had zero plastic protective parts and, thus, the gold pieces were scraped up. 3rd clutch arrived in a cardboard box without any protective packaging, no plastic pieces…not even a plastic bag. The shipping box wasn’t even taped shut! As a result, the ropes came unglued and were falling off. 4th clutch (gold) is on its way. Fingers crossed that this clutch is packaged correctly and arrives in new condition.
