Scuffs so easily

I’m so disappointed in these boots. I love Sofft and they fit great. But the very first time I wore them, I got a scuff mark on the toe. It can’t be buffed out or polished out (I went back to Nordstrom for brown shoe polish). I bought these because I love the dark brown shiny leather but apparently they don’t stay that way. Even after one wear. Super sad. See picture of right toe. Very noticeable even after trying to minimize.
