Scalloped Diamond Clicker Earring

It is with sadness but I feel obligated to write this review. I bought a pair of Maria Tash earrings (same as the ones pictured) several years ago from another retailer and have had no problems with the exception I lost one. I therefore bought a new pair from Nordstrom, when I opened up the earring to put them on they broke in half very easily (right where the hinge is). I took them back and with no problem received a refund with the no questions asked (great customer service). I'm now very hesitant to buy again as I do have to say with the popularity of MT possibly the quality of the product has been jeopardized due to the mass making of the product - such a disappointment.

I bought this earring years ago directly from Maria Tash and loved it never having issues with the clasp. I bought another through Nordstrom and it seems that the quality has gone down with this brand. The clicker clasp is not as sturdy and feels on the edge of breaking. It does not seem as secure and is more difficult to get on and off than the older one. I am keeping because I want to have a matching set and I do not think the replacement will be any better according to the reviews on her products now.

After about a year of constant wear without taking it off, I have to return this as the clasp has broken. I was simply rotating it while wearing it and the clasp came undone and will not re-clasp. It was cute while it lasted but I don't think I'll buy MT again. But thanks Nordstrom for having such great customer service!
