Mallow Street Medium Phone Crossbody Bag

I wanted a crossbody phone bag that would essentially fit my iPhone pro max and maybe some credit cards and disinfecting wet wipes. I got the orange peel color and it is a smidge brighter in person. It’s a nice soft leather and well made but ultimately not keeping it because with the ways the straps are attached on the back of bag rather than on the side to me just feels a little awkward.

Ugh. I can already envision the workarounds with this piece. First off, shame on me for not reading the description. This bag has a snap-button closure (not magnetic). I constantly open and close my bags, so I can tell the button and the leather will be worn almost immediately. The paint on the button will probably chip and fade within the first month of use. I LOVE the fact that this bag has no noticeable hardware when closed, but at what cost? The straps feel too small to support the weight of a full bag, and that’s considering I can only fit my phone, a few cards, and my keys. (If you have a key fob, good luck.) This bag is cute—but it’s a pain. It also loses its cuteness and functionality as you try to fill it with your most basic essentials. I keep asking myself if I can keep some stuff in my coat pocket, but why? That’s literally why I carry a bag! If you want this crossbody, just be prepared to roll your eyes.
