Rafa V Water Resistant Loafer (Men)

Recently purchased these Magnanni loafers advertised as “new,” but unfortunately that was not the case. The right loafer arrived with noticeable creasing across the vamp, quarter, and toe box consistent with prior wear. The left loafer, by contrast, appears to be in better condition. The difference is obvious side by side and strongly suggests the right shoe was previously worn, possibly as a display/demo or a returned pair. I’m not sure why Nordstrom would sell an item in this condition as “new.” The shoe itself is attractive and well made, which makes this experience even more disappointing. It’s also frustrating to have to go out of my way to return the shoes due to a quality control issue that should have been caught prior to shipping. I’m rating this 2 stars only because the shipping experience with OnTrac was surprisingly timely. Otherwise, based on the product condition and overall experience, this would have been a 1-star review. I’ve attached a photo so others can judge for themselves. I hope there is better quality control on returns before items are resold as new.
