Great boots
I have zippered version of these that I love and when I saw these I had to have them. I was little nervous as reviews said that they are hard to get on or off. I don't have any problems with these boots. I have slim feet and ankles and they go on and off with no problem. They are funky and trendy. Another great Madewell boots!

Funky but wearable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's true there's no zipper on these, but I have no trouble at all getting them on - I can do it standing on one foot. I have narrow feet and calves, but I think if you can generally deal with Chelsea boots you should be ok with these. I'm more impressed that they didn't fall off after sliding on so easily! They do have a dramatically elongated toe that I don't love - I'm already a size 11, I don't need the help - but otherwise I find them very wearable with just a bit of an edge. I like the high shaft, which works well with cropped jeans (to show off the fringe).

Too difficult to put on :(
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these in the black leather and the brown suede fringe. For some reason these don’t have a zipper like the black leather ones do, nor do they have any pull tab to make them easier to get on. And they’re more expensive! I wanted to love these, I love the look but the design… I’m not going to fight to put them on every time I want to wear them.

Flawed design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gorgeous booties with fringe were exactly what I was looking for. But they have no zipper! Impossible to get on. For the cost, they should have 2 zippers!
