The Lexie Ankle Bootie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered these boots because of the great reviews they have. I was hesitant because I had to return a different Madewell pair due to fit. This pair does not fit tight or cut my blood flow like the other pair. The color is a fall staple and the style is a definite green flag. So glad I purchased :)

These are great. Comfy, low heel while still looking classy and slightly dressy. They can be dressed up or down. Ive only worn once but have no complaints. I will say, unfortunately I got caught in some serious rain the 1st time worn so the front half and toe got very wet. They seemed to have held up nicely though. Maybe some slight wrinkles formed, but they also may be slightly long on me. I have a slightly wide foot. These fit true to size. I think online they look slightly more of an orangey shade, but in real life I think they lean more of a chocolate brown with a very slight orange hue. Hope that makes sense. At first I thought the toe looked a big long for my liking when I look down, given I have a small foot, usually 6.5 or size 7. But I got a woman's opinion at the Madewell store when I tried on and she said they look amazing and not clownish at all.
