Layton Lace Trim V-Neck Top

This top is so cute! I usually wear between a 4 and 6 and based on other reviews I bought one top of each size. I ended up keeping the 4. The stomach area fit me well on both but I am a B cup and felt the 4 fit better in the chest area. The shoulders were sliding down on the 6. This top is silky and slightly sexy. LOVE!

Beautiful top. The cut is really flattering, the navy is rich, the fabric is light and hangs beautifully. Overall this is a standout, elegant top that looks great with skirts or jeans.

I wasn't looking for anything like this at all but loved it when I tried it on in the store today. It has a delicate, vintage lingerie feeling. The color is midnight navy and it is trimmed with a black ribbon. It goes very nicely with the Zoe relaxed straight pants in black linen. Usually a medium in Madewell, I tried on both the 4 and the 6 and liked the more generous cut of the 6 best. The v neck is quite deep, almost severe, but a bra doesn't show and the top stays put and doesn't slip off the shoulders. It's viscose but looks and feels like silk. It will be quite lovely for romantic dinners. (Dry clean only and steam to get wrinkles out, no ironing, the label says.)
