Johnny Collar Merino Wool & Silk Sweater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the deep V-neck and the quality materials (merino and silk)! The material is lightweight but does a wonderful job keeping me warm, great winter staple. For reference, I'm 165 lbs. and 5'6" and 36D. I normally wear a Size L for tops, and this sweater is true to size. Some recommendations for properly caring for your wools and wool-blends: Don’t machine-wash! Since this sweater is mostly wool, caring for quality pieces will make them last forever. Don’t be like me and accidentally felt another one of my wool sweaters… I soak my washable wool garments in room-temperature water with a bit of mild shampoo for twenty minutes (baby shampoo works, avoid harsh detergents). Then I gently squeeze out the water, don’t wring or twist the clothing. To remove excess water, I lay the garment out over a flat towel, roll them up, and step on the “burrito”. Lay flat to dry, definitely don’t throw into the dryer!

Need to use cold cold water, social wool detergent and not wringing or agitation. Thankfully it’s silk blend is forgiving. Keeps me warm and not overheated.
