Madeline Wide Leg Jeans

I must admit I loved these so much that I purchased a second pair. However, it is a good thing because they do NOT last long. Fabric is a dress weight chambray. First, the hems frayed (my fault) after I wore them with the wrong shoes at a birthday event at a playground. Next, the waistband tore at two places from the clips on the pants hanger-again-probably my fault because I was still expecting the ruggedness of denim jeans from a flimsy lightweight fabric. The final blow influencing my 2-Star review happened when I was pulling them off (there’s an elastic waist on these $348 pants) and one of the pockets ripped the fabric. These have been washed on delicate and line dried and they’re less than 4 months old. I will be adding an invisible zipper on the side seam to try to make these last a little longer. Cute, but definitely not an investment piece. Save your money. Very disappointing.

You can't go wrong with Frank and Eileen as far as style and quality. These jeans are extremely flattering and comfortable. I am very pleased with this purchase!
