Sequin Stripe & Floral Sheath Dress

This is a gorgeous dress. I ordered it in size 2 and 4 in rose color. The rose color in picture looks more like coral to me but in person it is more nude. I really love the color. I am 5'3", 34C, 123 lbs and size 2 looks perfectly fitted on me. The dress comes up to my ankle and there is no way to alter the dress, so it looks like a midi dress on me. It does look very elegant, the only issue is that many sequins fell just by taking out of the garment bag. So, I am not sure how many will be left on the dress after wearing it for an event! Hopefully, the will last.

This beaded dress is stunning to look at, but once I put the dress on, it did not compliment my appearance. I am physically fit, thin but muscular and I have a minimal amount of body fat. I chose a size 4. I am 5' 6" tall and weigh 118 pounds. The sizing was correct and the dress fit. My dilemma was that the waistline was quite high and did not align with my waist plus the waist is beaded, so it calls attention to that area. My body is a more long and lean body type and this dress did not compliment that ambiance of flow. It would most likely look better on a petite person with a short waistline and perhaps more weight. It does not compliment a longer, leaner figure. Also, the color did not compliment my skin tone. This dress is a dusty rose. I am blonde with green eyes and tan. I believe the color would enhance a brunette with a medium skin tone, or darker. The dress itself is absolutely beautiful, and I was disappointed that it did not compliment my style of physique and coloring. That is the only reason I gave this dress a 2 rating, based on a personal fit but not the quality of the dress in any way. It is beautifully made, classy and stylish!
