One-Shoulder Satin Trumpet Gown

I had really high expectations since the dress looks gorgeous in the picture. I was shocked when I opened the box because the dress looked nothing like in the picture. Not only did the satin look super low-quality, but it also felt extremely cheap to the touch. I am very small: 5'4'' and 105 lbs and this did not compliment my shape whatsoever. The Satin is extremely reflective. Even after steaming the dress, it becomes extremely wrinkly after just a couple of minutes of wearing it. What shocked me the most was how poorly the top of the dress was made; the frills look super unequal. Also, because the top has more layers than the bottom, they are a completely different color. Can't say I didn't see this coming, since you can literally see that on the picture itself. This is way too overpriced for quality. Wait for it to go on sale and don't buy it for more than $50 bucks. Having that said, this does not reflect on the quality of Mac Duggal dresses. Every other gown I've gotten from them is absolutely stunning!!! :) I usually love their products and quality. This was just a miss.

I’m 5’4”, 34C, and curvy and this dress fit terribly, which is sad because the color was stunning. There was something weird going on in the bust area, and then the way the back straps are hooked pulls the dress in weird ways causing it to sit oddly on your body. Also the seams felt fairly loosely tied and as if they could come undone with a lil’ dance floor action. Returned it, but might work if you have a straighter figure.
