Neckline is loose
Very striking! I have a semi formal event to attend and I wanted something dignified but striking - leave an impression (a good one). My normal size is a 12 or large. 5'6", 150 lbs, 38C. I could squeeze into the L and with the help of a firm control onesie, it looked pretty good. I decided to try the XL to see the difference. It is SO much more comfortable and still looks like it was made for me - only without the uncomfortable under garments. The neck is one piece so it has to be loose so you can get it over your head. I did NOT like the floppy look and it really took away from the sleek lines. I had my tailor tighten it up and put in two buttons for easy access and it looks fabulous. The fur on the sleeves is easily removeable as the cuffs snap on and off. Dress hits my legs as shown with the description. I feel quite elegant in it and am glad I went a size up.
