elastic strap way too loose

I loved the funky “pilgrim” style of these online. HOWEVER, I need a back strap. I am a 7.5-8 in sandals. These would have been great if the strap actually had enough elastic to conform to multiple heel sizes. As they are, way too lose so no support. Why not “splurge” and put a BUCKLE on the heel strap instead of some thin, strap with no true elastic adjustment at the heel? It flops all over and is not suited for a more slender foot. Big disappointment.

Great quality sandals!

These are well made leather sandals! For reference, I wear size 7.5-8. I got these in size 8 and the length was ok, but strap was loose and sandals too wide to my taste. I exchanged for size 7, and the fit was way better. Love leather lining, makes a huge difference for sensitive feet.

comfort and class

These shoes! Comfortable right out of the box. They have a cushy insole. Width and heel height, perfect. I bought the white ones too. Buying the black ones next.

Loose heel strap

This sandal is both well-crafted and aesthetically pleasing. The footbed offers a comfortable softness, and the heel height is ideal. My only concern is with the back heel strap, which is excessively loose without any adjustment options. Even after trying a smaller size, I regrettably had to return them.

Overpriced and Underwhelming - Returning

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of these shoes, especially considering the price. As soon as I opened the box, I noticed a strong chemical odor that was very off-putting. The materials on the upper portion of the shoes feel inexpensive and don’t reflect the premium quality I expected from Nordstrom. In addition, the colors are noticeably different from the photos online, making them look much less attractive in person. For the price, I expected much better craftsmanship, materials, and overall quality. Unfortunately, these did not meet my expectations, and I will be returning them.
