Disappointed in fit

How can TTS be possible if XS ranges from 0-6 and M ranges from 8-12? Cute top that I’m planning to wear to a benefit rock concert but the fit is ridiculous! Ordered a M but exchanging for an XS and hoping it fits. The armholes are huge even with a tank under it. Usually wear a med top in this brand. For reference, my normal size is 6-8
